Description:
Indianapolis law firm seeks full-time licensed registered nurse with a strong educational and clinical background to assist a busy medical malpractice department in the capacity of Legal Nurse Consultant. The primary job duties are as follows: analyzing medical records; compile medical chronologies and summaries of medical records; research nursing and medical literature; identify standards of care, causation and damage issues; locate and consult with nurse and physician experts; collaborate in the preparation of pertinent legal pleadings and provide deposition and trial support. Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have law firm or case management experience, preferably with experience in acute care, and outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal). Candidate must be detail oriented and able to complete assignments and meet deadlines.
