About Thomas
Tom Donohoe serves as a trusted advisor to health care providers on a wide range of strategic transactional, corporate governance and regulatory matters. Tom’s representative experience includes structuring and supporting various mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, value-based arrangements and health system physician alignment strategies. He has also supported, advised and re-structured health system and community hospital governance as well as provided guidance on material health care fraud and abuse and other regulatory matters.
Prior to re-joining Hall Render in 2025, Tom served in various executive legal leadership roles at large nonprofit health systems, leading legal teams and guiding governing boards and executives through several transformative transactions. Tom leverages this experience to provide clients with practical advice and innovative solutions to the complex issues they face in an ever-evolving health care industry environment.
Tom graduated with a B.A. from Brigham Young University and a Juris Doctorate from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law where he concentrated and received honors in Health Law. He is licensed to practice in Colorado and Montana.
