Legal Recruiting Coordinator

Hall, Render, Killian, Heath & Lyman, P.C., the nation’s largest law firm focused exclusively on matters specific to health care organizations, is seeking a highly motivated and results-orientated professional to join our team as a Legal Recruiting Coordinator. In this role, the Legal Recruiting Coordinator will contribute to the execution of firm-wide recruitment strategies, playing a crucial part in attracting top talent to the firm. Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Interview Coordination and Support: Schedule interviews for attorney, summer associate, and administrative positions. Provide on-site assistance as needed to ensure a positive candidate experience and address any logistical requirements.
  • Recruitment Marketing: Post attorney, summer associate, and administrative team job advertisements across various platforms, including the ATS, job boards, and the firm website to attract top candidates.
  • Recruitment Event Logistics: Coordinate logistics for recruitment events, including venue bookings, travel logistics, RSVPs, and promotional materials.  Register the firm for job fairs, on-campus recruiting, and resume collections at law schools, ensuring firm presence and visibility.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Manage and update the ATS, ensuring accurate candidate tracking throughout the recruitment process. Conduct research and analyze data to generate insightful reports on critical recruiting metrics.
  • Candidate Communication:  Ensure timely, professional, and clear communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Summer Associate Program: Assist with all aspects of the Summer Associate program, including travel arrangements, orientation scheduling, event coordination, and feedback collection.
  • Travel & Logistics: Organize and manage interview travel arrangements for candidates, and attorneys, as needed.
  • Onboarding/Offboarding Support: Assist in the preparation of all onboarding activities, including scheduling orientation and documentation preparation for new hires, as well as offboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with Leadership: Partner with the Director of Recruiting, Hiring Partner, Summer Associate Lead Partner, Chief HR Officer, and other stakeholders to support the firm’s talent acquisition strategy.
  • Promotional Materials: Coordinate and order Firm promotional merchandise to support recruitment efforts and enhance brand visibility.
  • Budget Tracking: Track and submit recruiting expenditures.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as requested by firm leadership or team members.

We’re Looking for:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience;
    • At least 3 years recruiting experience, legal recruiting experience preferred;
    • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is preferred;
    • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate with others, and work as a part of the team;
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism;
    • Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks across various teams and offices;
    • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; and
    • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including ability to manage candidate pipelines, run reports, and optimize workflow within the system.
    • Availability and willingness to adjust hours, or in-office attendance, as needed to support recruiting events and business needs.
    • Limited travel may be occasionally required or requested.
