Hall Render is pleased to announce Dougie Barnard has joined the firm in its Indianapolis office.
Dougie Barnard specializes in health care transaction-related matters. Dougie assists a broad array of clients, comprising hospitals, hospital foundations, physician groups, health systems and other nonprofit organizations, by providing counsel on commercial leases and other space arrangements, including those subject to health care regulatory constraints and development projects, including the construction of medical office buildings and hospitals. Dougie also handles purchase and sale transactions and financing arrangements, with an emphasis on ground-up construction and portfolio transactions.
Prior to joining Hall Render, Dougie counseled real estate developers and investors on matters relating to the acquisition, disposition and development of multifamily properties and medical office buildings. Additionally, he counseled funds through public and private offerings and advised clients on corporate governance matters at an AmLaw 50 firm.
Dougie is admitted to practice in Indiana, Georgia and New York, and is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association and American Health Law Association.
