Description: The COVID-19 pandemic has brought continual change in the landscape of long term care survey and regulations. From the blanket 1135 waivers issued during the public health emergency to the release of new infection control regulations, changing CMS survey and enforcement guidance, and the implementation of a new focused infection-control survey process, providers have navigated an array of changing survey/regulatory policies and approaches.
