Hall Render is pleased to announce shareholder Laura Napiewocki was recently elected Chair of the Health Care Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan. Napiewocki previously served as Chair-Elect of the Section. The Health Care Law Section serves the health care community as an advocate on behalf of its interests concerning state and federal legislation and public policy affecting the practice of health care law, provides education with regard to legal practices and health care law issues, and serves as a resource for State Bar members for the purpose of fostering professional development and advancement of health care law standards.
Napiewocki counsels clients in numerous aspects of health care law, including corporate counsel matters, CMS and Joint Commission matters, hospice, medical staff and peer review, contracting matters, regulatory compliance, long-term care, compliance, and graduate medical education.
