Hall Render attorney Elizabeth Walker has been re-elected to serve a full, three-year term on the National Association of Bond Lawyers (“NABL”) Board of Directors. “I appreciate the opportunity and am thrilled to continue to serve on the NABL Board,” Elizabeth said. “NABL has been an integral part of my growth and development as a tax-exempt bond 103 lawyer, and I am honored to continue serving the organization in this capacity.”
Since its inception in 1979, NABL has promoted the integrity of the municipal bond market by providing education to its members, other market participants and policymakers on the laws and regulations affecting state and municipal bonds. NABL is headquartered in Washington, D.C., and has approximately 2,500 members.
For more than a decade, Elizabeth has been an active member of NABL, regularly participating in and chairing panels at the Bond Attorney’s Workshop and the Institute. From 2018 to 2019, Elizabeth served as the first chair of the Governmental Affairs Committee and in 2018 served on the Nominating Committee to select the NABL Board.
Elizabeth focuses her practice on debt financing for 501(c)(3) and governmental health care organizations. She has broad experience representing borrowers, issuers, underwriters and lending institutions throughout the country, in tax-exempt and taxable financings.
