Hall Render, a national health care-focused law firm, is pleased to announce the recent addition of Tim Shaw as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Tim will facilitate the firm’s efforts to align IT operations with Board-directed strategic growth initiatives, lead the firm’s IT department, oversee significant technology initiatives and partner with firm leadership on the firm’s security practices.
Singularly focused in health care, Hall Render has represented over 5,000 health care organizations across the country. Most recently, the firm has actively focused on growth, increasing the number of professionals to serve health care clients and expanding and further developing the services it offers.
“Tim brings deep expertise in building and implementing strategic roadmaps and leading IT departments, in addition to driving innovation, security practices and large technology initiatives, all with a focus on the end-user,” said Natalie Murphy, Chief Administrative Officer of Hall Render. “Technology is a critical part of our firm, enabling us to more effectively and efficiently deliver exceptional client service, and Tim will be at the forefront of our technology infrastructure.”
Drawing upon more than three decades of dedicated IT experience, Tim most recently served as the CIO for a large national law firm, where he oversaw the management of all technology staff and initiatives. Additionally, Tim supervised cybersecurity operations, e-Discovery service delivery and end-user technology education and communication.
Tim earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Accounting from Anderson University and is a member of the International Legal Technology Association.
