Hall Render is proud to be included in the list of law firms partnering with Diversity Lab to continue building a culture of inclusion for people with disabilities. Our collaboration involves the implementation of specific actions outlined in Diversity Lab’s Disability Inclusion Commitments, an initiative aimed at addressing the often-overlooked aspect of disability inclusivity within the broader context of diversity efforts.
In recognizing the significance of inclusivity for people with disabilities, we acknowledge the need for targeted efforts to ensure their voices are not overshadowed. The Diversity Lab Disability Inclusion Advisory Group shared their insights, perspectives and experiences to create a list of 10 actions law firms and legal departments can take to build and sustain a culture of inclusion for people with disabilities. Among these action items include initiatives such as increasing opportunities to hire disabled people, establishing a disability employee resource group and removing digital and physical barriers to disabled employees and clients.
This collaborative endeavor underscores our firm’s dedication to promoting diversity, equity and inclusivity within the legal profession. The full list of law firms committed to this initiative can be found in Diversity Lab’s recent press release here.
