Hall Render is pleased to announce that Jaren Hagler has joined the Firm in its Raleigh office. Jaren concentrates his legal practice on tax, mergers and acquisitions and general business transactions. Jaren partners with clients on a variety of tax matters, including federal and state tax planning and compliance, as well as the tax structuring of mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations and joint ventures. His experience spans both for-profit and tax-exempt organizations, with a particular focus on partnership tax planning and the tax considerations associated with complex corporate transactions.
Before joining Hall Render, Jaren served as Senior Director and Associate General Counsel at a Fortune 500 financial services company, where he provided strategic corporate tax advice across a variety of matters. Prior to this role, he practiced in the tax group at a national law firm, where he provided counsel to clients on the international, federal and state tax issues arising from mergers and acquisitions.
Jaren is admitted to practice in North Carolina and Indiana and is a member of the American Health Law Association and the North Carolina Bar Association.
