Hall Render is pleased to announce that Meghan Pound has joined the Firm in its Denver office.
With more than 20 years of experience, Meghan represents hospitals and other health care organizations in employment law, litigation, physician contracting and compensation, professional review matters and regulatory compliance. She partners with hospitals, long-term care facilities, behavioral health providers and federally qualified health centers to navigate complex workforce and operational challenges with practical, strategic guidance.
In her prior role at a Colorado-based law firm, Meghan represented clients in federal and state courts at both the trial and appellate levels, as well as in administrative proceedings and arbitrations. She has extensive experience conducting internal investigations and defending employment discrimination, alleged civil rights violations and breach of contract claims. Her practice also includes defending hospitals and health care organizations in professional review actions and alleged violations of the False Claims Act, Stark Law and the Anti-Kickback Statute.
Meghan is admitted to practice in Colorado and Wyoming and is a member of the Boulder County Bar Association, Professionalism Committee and the American Health Law Association.
