Hall Render is pleased to announce that Ryan Short has joined the Firm as Practice Growth Strategist. This addition reflects Hall Render’s commitment to equipping attorneys and advisors with the market insight and support needed to compete effectively in an increasingly sophisticated legal market.
In this role, Ryan will partner with attorneys, advisors and Firm leadership to advance client growth strategy, support relationship expansion efforts and bring a more research-driven, disciplined approach to individual attorney business development.
Ryan brings more than 15 years of experience leading business development, marketing and revenue growth initiatives in professional services firms and corporate environments. Most recently, he served as Managing Director at DCM Insights, where he worked extensively with their research-driven Activator Development System to help leaders at many of the nation’s largest law, accounting and consulting firms strengthen client development, partner growth planning and go-to-market effectiveness.

Prior to DCM Insights, Ryan served as Vice President of Marketing & Business Development for Proteus Discovery Group, where he helped drive significant revenue growth while leading the firm’s marketing, business development and strategic partnership efforts. Throughout his career, he has built and led high-performing teams, implemented scalable growth systems, and helped organizations translate strategic planning into measurable business results.
Ryan earned his Master of Business Administration from Indiana University Indianapolis and his Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from Indiana University Bloomington.
