Provider Relief Fund Update
[02/02/2021]
Synopsis:
The Provider Relief Fund created by the CARES Act included billions of dollars to reimburse eligible healthcare providers for expenses and lost revenues attributable to the COVID-19 pandemic. With most of the funds distributed, providers are turning their attention to reporting requirements and future HHS and financial audits. This session will provide an overview of the Provider Relief Fund, review the recent legislative changes for calculating lost revenue and allocating funds in a health system, discuss best practices and strategies for preparing for reporting obligations, and describe audit requirements.
Speaker(s): Ben Fee, Hall Render and Lori Wink, Hall Render
Organizer: Iowa Hospital Association, Maine Hospital Association and North Dakota Hospital Association
