Price Transparency & Surprise Billing: What Recent Changes Mean for Colorado Providers

This webinar will provide an overview of the recently enacted state and federal price transparency and surprise billing requirements. Presenters will discuss the interplay between the recent state and federal efforts to increase price transparency and limit surprise billing. This program will include a discussion of the Hospital Price Transparency and Transparency in Coverage federal regulations, the No Surprises Act, passed in December 2020, as part of Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, as well as similar legislative efforts taken in Colorado, including HB 19-1001 and HB 19-1174.
