You’re on Mute: Regulatory Compliance in Long Term Care and Telehealth

Description: As part of the emergency measures to address COVID-19, all levels of government are facilitating, and even encouraging, the use of telemedicine technology. The primary goal, of course, is to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 to and from patients who would otherwise use in-person services. Telemedicine is also helping to reduce in-person patient volumes and give health care providers the potential means of rendering patient care from home. The session will review federal changes, state law, HIPAA enforcement, and other key issues.
