Advancing discovery. Managing risk. Accelerating innovation.

Scientific discovery is moving faster than ever. Clinical trials are more decentralized, artificial intelligence (“AI”) is reshaping research operations, data sharing crosses institutions and borders, and research institutions are expanding commercialization efforts amid heightened regulatory scrutiny.

Success requires more than legal advice; it requires a multidisciplinary, industry-focused legal team that understands the full research innovation lifecycle, from clinical research strategy and study startup to strategic partnerships, commercialization and transactions, AI governance, research security, enforcement risk and more.

Hall Render’s Research & Innovation Team provides integrated legal counsel from discovery to deployment. We partner with academic medical centers, health systems, research institutions, research sponsors, biotechnology companies, medical device manufacturers and digital health innovators to help transform scientific ideas into clinical impact while managing legal, regulatory, operational and business risk.
