Status of Current Challenges to the Indiana Medical Malpractice Act Cap on Damages and Potential Impact on Physicians’ Personal Assets and Asset Protection Strategies for Indiana Physicians

There has been a renewed interest from Plaintiff’s bar in attempting to challenge the cap on damages under the Indiana Medical Malpractice Act. Speakers will discuss the status of the law and court challenges as well as the potential for physician liability if the cap is either declared unconstitutional or increased.
