In 2023, Wendy Plenty Ferguson transitioned her career to Hall Render where she serves as a Medicare Appeals Coordinator. In this role, she leverages her deep understanding of the revenue cycle to assist clients in navigating the intricacies of Medicare appeals. Having honed her skills at a Big 4 accounting firm, Wendy gained invaluable experience in managing revenue cycles for major health care systems throughout the U.S. Wendy is known for her meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that all documentation and appeals are prepared with the highest level of precision and compliance.
An Alabama native, Wendy received her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from the Culverhouse College of Business at The University of Alabama and completed her certification in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion at Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida. Her passion for making a positive impact is evident not only in her professional pursuits but also in her dedication to community service and collaboration as a board member of various 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, as well as her 25+ year membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
