About Calvin
Calvin Chambers is a health care tax and employee benefits attorney who advises hospitals, health systems and physician groups on complex regulatory and transactional matters.
He works with clients to develop practical solutions related to tax compliance, employee benefits and corporate transactions.
Calvin’s practice includes:
- Advising on tax exemption, including private benefit, private inurement and unrelated business income tax matters;
- Counseling on employee benefits, including retirement plans, deferred compensation and health and welfare plans;
- Guiding clients on health care reform compliance and related regulatory requirements; and
- Supporting corporate transactions, including joint ventures, practice acquisitions and governance matters.
Beyond his professional work, Calvin is committed to his community—serving as Treasurer on the Board of the Dyslexia Institute of Indiana. He resides in Indianapolis with his wife and three children, and outside of work, manages his family farm, where he raises Black Angus cattle.
