About Hannah

Hannah Clarke is a health care antitrust attorney who advises hospitals, health systems and other health care organizations on compliance with federal and state antitrust laws in both strategic transactions and day-to-day operations.

She works closely with clients to assess antitrust risk early in the planning stages of mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, helping organizations structure transactions, navigate regulatory review and maintain compliance in an increasingly active enforcement environment.

Hannah’s practice includes:

• Preparing Hart-Scott-Rodino ("HSR") premerger notification filings for hospitals, health systems and other organizations entering into transactions;
• Advising providers on antitrust risk in mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, including issues related to information sharing and due diligence;
• Counseling hospitals, health systems and other organizations responding to antitrust investigations by the FTC, DOJ and state attorneys general; and
• Providing practical guidance on antitrust considerations related to clinical integration, joint ventures and day-to-day operations.

Hannah is licensed in both Indiana and California and often advises organizations on nuanced California health law issues, including Corporate Practice of Medicine considerations. Prior to practicing law, Hannah worked in hospital-based clinical research and at a biotechnology company managing client relationships—experience that gives her valuable insight into the operational and business challenges facing health care organizations.

Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys running, playing golf and spending time with her dog, Tim Riggins.
