About Jennifer
Jennifer Hatchett is a health care regulatory attorney who helps health system-owned health plans and managed care organizations navigate complex insurance and regulatory requirements.
Drawing on more than two decades of experience, including serving as a Chief Compliance Officer and operations leader for Medicare and Medicaid health plans, Jennifer provides practical and collaborative counsel to clients navigating the legal and operational challenges of the insurance business.
Jennifer’s practice includes:
- Advising health plans on Medicare Advantage and Medicaid managed care compliance;
- Guiding clients through insurance department licensing and regulatory approvals for carriers, utilization review organizations and third-party administrators;
- Conducting compliance assessments, gap analyses and regulatory audit support; and
- Advising on acquisitions, dispositions and operational restructuring involving insurance entities and managed care organizations.
Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family. Jennifer currently serves as Vice Chair of the Payers, Plans, and Managed Care Practice Group for the American Health Law Association.
