About Lisa
Lisa Lucido is a health care regulatory attorney who advises hospitals and other providers on complex reimbursement, managed care and compliance matters.
She is known for delivering practical, business-oriented guidance that aligns regulatory requirements with operational and financial priorities. She partners closely with legal, compliance and operational teams to develop and implement compliant, scalable strategies across evolving payment and delivery models, including in connection with government inquiries, reimbursement disputes and complex regulatory initiatives.
Lisa’s practice includes:
- Responding to government audits and investigations including matters involving the federal No Surprises Act;
- Advising on Medicare and Medicaid compliance, including coverage and payment requirements and provider‑based billing;
- Counseling on managed care contracting and Medicare Advantage and Medicaid managed care compliance;
- Advising on state law scope of practice and supervision requirements for physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, including multi-state analysis and compliance strategy; and
- Advising on regulatory and licensure matters affecting hospitals and other health care facilities, including service changes, closures and Medicare enrollment issues.
Lisa serves as Co‑Office Managing Partner of Hall Render’s Troy, Michigan, office and as Co‑Leader of the Firm’s managed care service line. She frequently publishes and speaks on reimbursement and managed care issues and serves as the Chair of State Bar of Michigan Health Care Law Section.
