About Matt
Matt Schappa is a litigator in Hall Render’s Indianapolis office and concentrates on defending clients involved in complex lawsuits. He also represents clients in actions and investigations initiated under the False Claims Act and has experience working closely with state and federal authorities to resolve fraud and abuse related matters. Matt counsels hospitals, health systems and other businesses through all stages of negotiations and litigation.
Matt is passionate about engaging in pro bono work and serves on the Board of Child Advocates—an organization dedicated to providing legal services to children throughout Indiana. Matt is a huge fan of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, a guitar aficionado and a running enthusiast. He lives south of Indianapolis with his wife, Eryn, their three children and two ill-behaved Labradors.
