Synopsis:

Joseph Wolfe discusses American health law enforcement, compensation structures and emerging compliance risks in “A Comparative Survey of American Health Law: Enforcement, Compensation Structures, and Emerging Compliance Risks” at the 10th European Association of Health Law Conference in Uppsala, Sweden.

This session will present an analytical overview of the current landscape of American health law, informed directly by Joe’s experience representing hospitals, health systems, and physician groups across the United States. The presentation will include findings from a survey of key U.S. health law topics— Stark Law, the Anti‑Kickback Statute, fraud and abuse enforcement trends, fair market value and commercial reasonableness developments, and compliance considerations related to value‑based care.
