Legal Issues and Challenges Facing the Health Care Industry

In this session, attendees will participate in a group discussion about contemporary health care legal issues and challenges facing the health care industry as well as health care providers, suppliers and consumers. An array of issues will be discussed including what systems are doing with social determinants of health, physician and provider compensation, integration challenges, patient and consumer readiness, compliance matters and employee issues. Potential takeaways for the group will be discussed.
