About Jennifer
Jennifer Smitherman serves as the Chief Research Officer for Hall Render, leading the Research & Information Services Department. In this role, Jennifer oversees the fulfillment of over 3,000 research requests per year, administers online and print research resources and manages an extensive program of current awareness and news delivery for the firm. Jennifer also directs the learning/training team at Hall Render, who design and present programming for all employees to enhance skills and strengthen professional development.
After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Ball State University, Jennifer obtained her Master’s degree in Library Science from Indiana University-Indianapolis. Additionally, she holds a Paralegal Certificate from Purdue University-Ft. Wayne. Jennifer is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries, the American Society of Administrative Professionals, the American Health Lawyers Association and the Indiana Bar Association, and is a past-president of the Indianapolis Law Librarians Association.
