Management Training

Management training is critical to ensuring that front-line leaders within your health care organization understand their role in applying policies and managing employees. Having informed managers, who understand the importance of compliance with employment laws and recognize the value that they and their employees bring to the organization, can have a significant impact on the quality of patient care provided. Our management training is designed for new and more seasoned managers alike, with your organization’s needs in mind, and can be tailored to your specific policies and procedures.

General Employee Training

General employee training is intended to provide all your employees with education on important topics that is tailored to your specific policies and procedures and in line with the legal requirements in your specific jurisdiction. These types of trainings can be used to provide employees with an understanding of the workplace culture and environment, and to ensure your employees understand your policies and procedures. In addition, in states that require specific employee training (on topics such as sexual harassment), our training will be designed to comply with those state requirements.

General Employee Training Session Examples:

  • Harassment and Discrimination Training
  • Patient Accommodation and Non-Discrimination
  • Civility and Professionalism Training

In addition, Hall Render can provide further assistance and support to employers that prefer to lead their own general employee trainings by training the individuals who will be presenting to employees, reviewing policies and presentation slide decks, and assisting in preparing internal presentations.

On occasion, employers find that there are individual employees that may require rehabilitation and/or may benefit from a training reminding them about the applicability of a particular policy or procedure and the importance of civility and professionalism. Hall Render can provide tailored training to an individual or can assist leadership in creating their own internal training on the topic of their choice.

Human resources training provides an opportunity to calibrate your HR team with the latest employment law developments and practical takeaways. Our trainings provide your HR professionals with the tools necessary to keep up with the fast-paced environment of HR in health care. In particular, these trainings will ensure compliance with the most up-to-date employment laws at your location(s) and can incorporate strategies for proper implementation of your specific policies and procedures.
