Virtual Care – Critical Planning for Expiration of the Federal PHE Federal Public Health Emergency Ending May 11: What Health Care Organizations Need to Know

Since the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (“PHE”) was declared in 2020, health care organizations across the country have had to pivot to provide virtual care services. The PHE allowed organizations more flexibility while working to provide care to millions during a pandemic. Both the national emergency and the public health emergency were previously set to expire on March 1 and April 11. The Biden administration previously made a commitment to give at least 60 days notice prior to the ending of the PHE. Extending the orders to expire on May 11 allows for that adjustment period.

Join Hall Render for this webinar focused on the specific ways the ending of the Public Health Emergency on May 11 will affect virtual care at health care organizations. The PHE gave providers numerous flexibilities, and our presenters will address the many ways that virtual care will be changing when the PHE ends. Hall Render’s Chris Eades, Lisa Lucido, Regan Tankersley and Mike Batt will present key things to consider and practice takeaways.
