Hall Render is honored to announce that Tim Kennedy was selected by the Indiana Hospital Association (IHA) as the 2023 Award of Merit honoree. The Award of Merit is presented each year to an individual who has made noteworthy contributions to the health care field within Indiana. Tim was honored with this distinction on Monday, October 23, during the IHA Annual Meeting awards ceremony in Indianapolis.
Throughout his career, Tim has devoted his work to assisting hospitals, serving many of them as their counsel, their lobbyist in the Indiana legislature and most recently as the General Counsel for the Indiana Hospital Association. Over the past 30 years, Tim has been instrumental in drafting or co-drafting the majority of Indiana’s major health care legislation, notably including the “Healthy Indiana Plan,” which expanded Medicaid in the state.
Tim is a shareholder of our firm and focuses his practice on the intricate domains of securities law and health care reimbursement issues. He has extensive experience in the development of Medicaid funding mechanisms and Medicaid disproportionate share payment programs.
