Hall Render is pleased to announce that Wyatt Poer has joined the Firm as an Associate in its Detroit office.
Wyatt is a health care attorney who provides strategic payment and compliance advice to hospitals, health systems and other health care entities.
Working at the intersection of reimbursement strategy, compliance and operational optimization, he advises providers on federal surprise billing requirements and provider-based billing. He also evaluates how state scope-of-practice rules affect reimbursement and helps clients identify compliance risk. Wyatt brings an operational perspective to his practice, informed by his prior experience in internal audit and risk management, where he managed multinational audit engagements and worked with executives and board committees to understand organizational risk.
Wyatt earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law and his B.S.B.A. from the University of Arkansas. He is admitted to practice in Michigan and is a member of the American Health Law Association and the Health Care Compliance Association.
