About Abigail

Abby Kaericher is a health care government relations attorney who helps providers, associations and health care businesses navigate the political and regulatory landscape in Washington, D.C. and across the nation.  

She works closely with executive leadership to build relationships and advocacy strategies that shape federal policy and regulatory outcomes.  

Abby’s practice includes:

  • Advocating before Congress and federal agencies on legislative and regulatory matters affecting health care organizations; 
  • Advising executive leadership on policy strategy and regulatory developments impacting health care; 
  • Assisting clients in securing Congressional Directed Spending and other federal funding opportunities; and 
  • Counseling clients on federal lobbying compliance, including disclosure and reporting obligations. 

Prior to joining Hall Render, Abby served as VP of Legislation and Associate General Counsel for the Federation of American Hospitals, representing more than 1,000 for-profit hospitals and health systems before Congress and the Administration. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Saint Louis University School of Law, where she teaches Federal Agency Practice. 

Outside of her legal practice, Abby enjoys playing tennis with her husband.
