About Caroline
Caroline Bundy is a health care real estate attorney who advises hospitals, health systems and other organizations on the legal considerations that impact real estate transactions.
Drawing on her background litigating condemnation matters, she brings a practical and analytical perspective to complex property and development issues affecting health care organizations. Prior to joining Hall Render, Caroline served in the Office of the Indiana Attorney General as Deputy Attorney General before becoming a Supervising Deputy Attorney General. In these roles, she handled eminent domain proceedings, conducted title reviews, analyzed land acquisition appraisals and defended state interests in a variety of real estate matters.
Caroline’s practice includes:
- Advising health care clients on real estate transaction considerations and related strategic issues;
- Representing clients in condemnation and other complex litigation matters;
- Guiding clients through real estate due diligence, title and survey review, land acquisition matters and other transactional real estate issues; and
- Assisting with drafting and negotiating leases.
Her prior litigation experience also includes representing clients in permanent disability matters, where she gained experience deposing claimants and expert witnesses in the health care field. Notably, Caroline has successfully argued before the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District. Outside of her practice, Caroline enjoys learning new languages.
