About Kaitlin
Kaitlin Nucci is a health care regulatory attorney who advises providers on reimbursement, compliance and managed care matters across government and commercial payor programs.
She works closely with clients to navigate federal health care program requirements, address operational compliance risks and respond to government inquiries and billing challenges in a practical, strategic and collaborative manner.
Kaitlin’s practice includes:
- Advising providers on billing and reimbursement compliance;
- Developing and implementing compliance programs;
- Conducting investigations into potential compliance issues and guiding remediation efforts, including policy development, training and repayment when necessary;
- Negotiating managed care agreements with third-party payors and strategizing optimization of payment under such agreements; and
- Responding to government inquiries, including UPIC and NSA audits.
She is a member of Hall Render’s Reimbursement, Managed Care and Compliance practice and regularly collaborates with transactional teams to assess payor-related risks in mergers and acquisitions. Outside of her practice, she is an avid fan of Michigan football and the Detroit Lions.
