About Michael
Michael Fiedler is a health care regulatory and transactions attorney who advises hospitals, health systems and other provider organizations on complex compliance and strategic business matters.
Michael works closely with provider organizations to structure transactions and operational arrangements in a compliant and efficient manner. He frequently collaborates with legal, compliance and operational leaders to address regulatory considerations that arise in connection with strategic growth initiatives and evolving care models, including value-based care.
Michael’s practice includes:
- Advising health care organizations on Stark Law and Anti-Kickback compliance;
- Counseling on all aspects of mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures for a broad range of providers;
- Advising on provider compensation models and helping clients transition to value-based care;
- Developing corporate structures and Friendly PC Models for provider organizations; and
- Drafting and negotiating provider agreements and services agreements.
Before becoming an attorney, Michael earned a Master of Public Health from Columbia University and worked in health policy within New York City government. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, playing tennis and listening to music.
