HR Generalist

This role delivers training, supports performance management processes, coordinates onboarding, assists with data and reporting, and reinforces consistent HR practices across assigned groups. The HR Generalist translates development strategy into practical tools, training and follow-through while gathering insights to improve employee experience, manager effectiveness and process adoption.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Deliver learning and development programs, including onboarding, foundational training and targeted skill development for attorneys and administrative staff
- Develop and maintain tools such as guides, templates, checklists and job aids to support consistent practices
- Support performance management processes, including materials, training and cycle coordination
- Execute onboarding activities, including logistics and orientation support
- Serve as an HR partner to assigned groups, reinforcing expectations and supporting adoption
- Translate HR initiatives into daily practice through training and follow-up
- Track required training completion, including compliance reporting
- Maintain HR intranet and resource content for accuracy and usability
- Analyze workforce and training data to provide insights
- Gather feedback to identify development needs and improvement opportunities

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in HR support, learning and development, or onboarding
- Experience creating training materials and tools
- Comfort delivering training
- Familiarity with performance management and onboarding processes
- Experience with data organization or analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Schedule/Location:
- Monday to Friday; flexibility in schedule and core hours
- Hybrid work option if located in a Hall Render market
Travel and Physical Requirements:
- Limited travel
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing and operating office equipment
- Occasional standing, walking, bending and reaching
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10–15 pounds (e.g., files, documents, office supplies)
- Visual acuity to read screens, review documents and analyze detailed information
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video and in person
