About Brian

Brian Betner brings trusted, strategic legal counsel to hospitals, health systems and health care providers navigating today’s complex clinical, regulatory and operational challenges. With a focus on governance, medical staff operations, clinical operations and compliance, Brian partners with executive leadership, governing boards, clinical leadership and in-house counsel to develop practical solutions that support innovation, alignment and high-performing care delivery.

Known for his deep understanding of the health care landscape and his ability to align legal strategy with business goals, Brian is often sought after to advise on transformative initiatives, including provider alignment models, quality and peer review processes and enterprise-wide compliance considerations. He thrives in collaborative environments and takes pride in helping clients anticipate change, manage risk and implement practical and forward-thinking approaches to operations and care delivery.

Brian serves as a managing partner of the Firm’s Denver office and recently completed his service on the Firm’s Board of Directors. Brian has also served on the governing board of the National Association Medical Staff Services and regularly contributes to health care industry legislative initiatives. A nationally recognized speaker on medical staff governance, health care delivery and regulatory strategy, Brian is also a proud U.S. Navy veteran. Outside of work, he’s an enthusiastic supporter of collegiate lacrosse and enjoys adventure sports.
