Her practice concentrates on health care law, representing hospitals, health systems, physicians, physician group practices, private equity companies, ambulatory surgery centers, physician-owned hospitals, retail pharmacies, pharmacy-benefit managers and ancillary services providers, such as laboratories and imaging service providers.
Erin advises clients on all aspects of health care law, including but not limited to regulatory and compliance matters; corporate practice of medicine; physician compensation plan design and review; value-based enterprise arrangements; internal investigations; fraud and abuse laws, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute and False Claims Act; and health care transactions. She counsels and serves as a strategic advisor to health care clients and their executive leadership teams. She also co-leads Hall Render’s Value-Based Care Service Line.
Before re-joining Hall Render, Erin served as Senior Associate General Counsel and Vice President of Physician Compensation, and later Chief Legal Officer, for an international, private equity cancer care company, which was the largest radiation oncology provider and one of the largest groups of urologists in the U.S. during her tenure. Prior to her time as a lawyer, she worked as a registered respiratory therapist for a national Catholic health care system.
In her free time, Erin enjoys traveling with her husband and young son, as well as cooking, gardening and spending time outside.
