Hall Render is pleased to announce that Addison Bradford, Liza Brooks, Libby Park, Brian Sabey, Matt Schappa, Katherine Schwartz, Jennifer Struck and Carolina Wirth have been named Shareholders of the Firm. Please join us in congratulating these individuals on this milestone and learn more about their respective practices below.

  • Addison Bradford is situated in the firm’s Indianapolis office and focuses his practice on real estate law, serving as a strategic advisor to his clients as they work to expand and improve health care within their communities. Addison counsels on leases and other space arrangements, development projects, land use approvals and real estate financing. Addison graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law with his J.D. in 2016.
  • Liza Brooks is based in the firm’s Detroit office and focuses her practice on supply chain operations, health information technology and clinical research compliance. From vendor contracting to distribution, Liza advises clients on sourcing and procurement strategies that aim to mitigate risks, create efficiencies and reduce operational costs. Liza received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2013.
  • Libby Park is based in the firm’s Denver office and represents clients in connection with a variety of transactional needs, including the acquisition, disposition, development and leasing of real estate assets. Libby counsels hospitals, health care systems and physician providers, and seeks to effect positive change by helping clients enact their business goals in communities across the United States. Libby is a graduate of the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and received her J.D. in 2016.
  • Brian Sabey is situated in the firm’s Denver office and focuses his legal practice on health care-related litigation. Brian counsels his clients as they navigate health care-related litigation matters, including lawsuits brought by former employees and breaches of non-compete arrangements. In 2016, Brian received his J.D. from Brigham Young University J. Reuben Clark Law School.
  • Matt Schappa is a litigator in Hall Render’s Indianapolis office and concentrates on defending clients involved in complex lawsuits. He represents clients in actions and investigations initiated under the False Claims Act and has experience working closely with state and federal authorities to resolve fraud and abuse-related matters. Matt graduated with his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2014.
  • Katherine Schwartz focuses her legal practice on fraud and abuse analyses related to the federal Stark, Anti-Kickback and Civil Monetary Penalties laws. Katherine assists clients in matters related to hospital/physician contracting, hospital and health system relationships, regulatory and compliance issues and provider enrollment. She graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law with her J.D. in 2016.
  • Jennifer Struck is based in the firm’s Indianapolis office and works alongside health care clients nationwide, focusing on physician group practices and physician-owned hospitals. Jennifer specializes in hospital-physician transactions, mergers and acquisitions from both buyer and seller sides, fraud and abuse and ambulatory surgery center start-ups and joint ventures. Jennifer received her J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
  • Carolina Wirth works in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office and helps clients navigate the complex and ever-changing landscape of FDA regulation. She provides regulatory and strategic counsel to companies involved in the development, marketing and advertising of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, dietary supplements, and animal drug products. Carolina received her J.D. from the Boston University School of Law.
