Brian’s practice includes:
- Developing and structuring CINs and ACOs, including selection and formation of appropriate legal structures and preparation of organizational and governance documents;
- Surveying and analyzing patient and provider populations to inform CIN and ACO strategy;
- Advising on participation in Medicare Shared Savings Program, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and commercial value‑based arrangements;
- Negotiating payor, vendor and provider participation agreements; and
- Counseling on regulatory, antitrust and tax considerations related to CINs and ACOs.
Brian frequently works directly with executive leadership at hospitals and safety‑net providers. He grew up in a rural community and brings that perspective to advising rural and safety‑net organizations on operational, financial and market‑specific challenges.
