About Joseph
Joe Wolfe is a nationally recognized health care regulatory attorney who advises providers and in‑house legal teams on complex compliance and fraud and abuse matters.
He works closely with clients to navigate Stark Law and Anti Kickback requirements, provider compensation issues and value based arrangements with a practical, business focused approach.
Joe’s practice includes:
- Advising on Stark Law and Anti Kickback compliance;
- Counseling on provider compensation models, fair market value issues and physician enterprise strategy;
- Conducting internal compliance reviews and responding to government investigations;
- Structuring and implementing value based enterprise ("VBE") models and physician coverage arrangements; and
- Assessing fraud and abuse risk and identifying methods for resolution, including self-disclosure.
Joe serves as Chair of Hall Render’s Health Care Regulatory Practice Group and is actively engaged in the health care industry nationwide, with particular involvement in Florida as a leader in the FL Bar’s Health Law Section. He is a longtime leader within the American Health Law Association and is a frequent speaker nationally. He regularly shares regulatory insight and practical guidance with health care legal and compliance professionals.
